We had such a great time with our friends up in the mountains of Virginia. There was much laughing, rafting, eating, swimming, movie watching and exploring that happened.
It was so nice to get away from the monotony of every day life. How many times can you raft down a river and see cows sharing the same space as you all while singing the whole theme song to Prince of Bel Air and the Brady Bunch. Or tye dye a t-shirt and be truly perplexed about the colors and swirl outcome. Or learn about herbs and aromatherapy with a bunch of 80-year-olds. Or scream like a girl while going down a blacked out water slide. Or fight the urge to laugh at the all too self absorbed yoga teacher. Or splash around the pool with strangers in an attempt at water aerobics. Or ride a ski lift to the top of a mountain and spot critters you have never seen before. Or horseback ride down a mountain with a horse that is known for biting the behind of the horse in front of him (and he did it too). Or drink a bit too much wine at the Virginian winemaker's dinner and laugh so hard at an original Meri song that it hurt.
What great memories! I'll have some pictures of up soon. Our internet at home has decided not too work right now, so it may be a few days.
